Deaerator or aeration tank

Increases the speed of heat transfer from the heating pipes to the water and protects the boiler against corrosion

Dearators

Deaerator or aeration tank is a boiler feed vessel where non-condensable gases are removed from water. The main purpose of the deaerator is to speed up the heat transfer from heated pipes to water and protect the boiler against corrosion. Gas molecules in water behave as insulation, so their removal increases the energy efficiency of a boiler. CO2, O2, and insoluble gases whose reaction with water produces H2CO3 carbon acid, which is extracted as such and does not enter the boiler pipeline system, are produced in the deaerator. This considerably reduces corrosion and extends the boiler service life.

Design:
Horizontal vessel
Cylindrical with Curved – Flanged Ends
Main advantages
Capability to absorb all the fluctuations (peak) of the steam consumption
No need for big steam generators systems in order to match the instant consumption of the steam
Wear reduction of the steam generator over time with less Starts and Stops of the system
Thermal insulation is placed as standard delivery in order to eliminate loss of the energy.
